In the heart of Teoumaville, we believe that a strong community is built on two pillars: the wisdom of our ancestral traditions and the clarity of modern law. The Teoumaville Community Council of Chiefs Charitable Association exists to unite these two forces, creating a safe, prosperous, and harmonious home for all residents of Stages 1, 2, and the surrounding areas.
Teoumaville is a unique melting pot of families from across the provinces of Vanuatu. Our governance structure—the Committee of 34—reflects this diversity, ensuring that every island group, church, youth, and woman has a seat at the table. By working together under a unified Constitution, we ensure that while we come from different backgrounds, we move forward as one people.
We honor the role of our Chiefs as the guardians of peace. By upholding our unique history and customs, we provide a foundation of respect that has guided our people for generations. Through traditional dispute resolution and the leadership of the Council of Chiefs, we settle grievances with dignity and restore balance to our community.
To protect our families and our future, we have established a clear set of Community Bylaws. These rules are not just restrictions; they are the tools we use to ensure:
Public Safety: Through the dedicated work of our Community Safety Team (CST).
Environmental Care: Keeping Teoumaville clean and healthy for our children.
Peace and Quiet: Respecting our neighbors and maintaining a standard of conduct that we can all be proud of.
Empowerment starts with participation. Whether it is through the annual contribution of 1,000VT to support community projects or attending the Annual General Meeting, every resident is a vital part of this Association.
Together, we are building a Teoumaville that is governed by respect, protected by law, and empowered by tradition.
